ON THE FRONT PORCH
Outdoor scene daguerreotypes depicting family don’t get any better than this. The photographer stayed within close enough range that we can see the family and their dog distinctly, while setting up far away enough to ‘capture’ the whole house. One wonders about the wooden enclosure. Notice the sapling with leaves on it to the right of the empty chair.

Very good condition. Resealed with new glass.
Light horizontal buff marks.
Spider molds lower left corner.
Small spot of residue on porch beam.
Tarnish at perimeter.
The white specks in the window behind one woman are exaggerated by the scanner and are a tiny scratch in the glass and not on the plate.
No wipes, no scratches.
