Malakoff Diggings were the largest hydraulic gold mining site in California. It is the site of the Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park.

SIZE. Approximately 3 1/2 x 7 inches.
CONDITION. Both sides: Soiling in sky. When tilted, a few scuff marks are apparent. Mount: Wear around edges and at corners. Soiling and discoloration on back.
APPEARANCE. Very good tones and details. Fantastic composition.
