CHILD IN WHITE DRESS

STRONG THREE-DIMENSIONAL AESTHETICS
This tintype has no bends and is simply an excellent example of the ordinary:
a child in white dress seated in front of a painted backdrop.
The three dimensional aspects of this one are uncanny.

APPEARANCE
Exceptional lighting on the child’s face.
Really, they don’t get any better than this.
Excellent contrast.
Excellent details.
Nice sheen.

CONDITION
No bends.
Some small grey spots on child’s dress, to the left of child’s elbow and to the right of the lower part of the dress.
Minimal to no surface wear.
When tilted, some ‘bubbles’ in the emulsion, but these cannot be detected with straight on viewing.
Very good to excellent.
