The dark patterns add an aura of intrigue.

 Split case.
APPEARANCE
 Great composition, good clarity, strong contrast.
CONDITION
 No bends.
Scrape on tail. Surface scratches.
A few drops of residue including on the cat’s fur.
SIZE
 Tintype alone is approximately 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 inches.
Split case is sixth plate size (3 3/4 x 3 1/4 inches).
