This one is loaded with connotations,
but we’re not going to attempt explanation here.
Simply a rivetting 19th century photograph.

APPEARANCE
 Compelling content.
Good contrast.
Glossy.
CONDITION
 Bends. Surface wear over the white child’s head.
There was a spot (still detectable) on the white child’s left cheek,
but we took this to a world renowned conservator, who ‘fixed’ it.
SIZE
 Approximately 3 1/2 X 2 3/8 inches.
