The photographer has arranged them masterfully, with oars in several directions, creating lines above and diagonally across the composition. The young women do their part: they appear deliberate but nonchalant, except for the central figure who stares right at the camera.

TEXT		Bottom: "Partridge. PHOTOGRAPHER, BOSTON AND BROOKLINE."
APPEARANCE		Wonderful composition, sharp, very good tones, excellent details.
CONDITION		6 tiny white marks where emulsion is missing. Small brown stain at top edge, left side. A couple of tiny insignificant spots. Mount is worn at corners and around edges. Small white pinprick on mount where it meets the upper left corner of the image. Back is scuffed and has several small pieces of surface layer missing.
SIZE		Photo alone is approximately 7 1/8 x 8 3/4 inches. Mount is approximately 8 x 10 inches.
