Offered are a pair of tintypes of a woman with presumably her daughters, and the woman alone.
WOMAN WITH DAUGHTERS. The woman is bright-eyed and earnest. She wears a large gold brooch. Her hands are on her daughter's shoulders, while their hands are on her lap. The trio is absolutely gorgeous.
SIZE: Approximately 3 1/2 x 2 5/16 inches. CONDITION: Many small black spots, which represent loss of emulsion. No bends. APPEARANCE: Very good contrast. Lovely body language. Beautiful, tight-knit composition.
WOMAN ALONE. The woman is stunning. She wears gold earrings, a gold brooch, and 2 gold rings. I don't know how to describe her hairstyle except to say that it's fabulous.
SIZE. Approximately 3 1/2 x 2 7/16 inches. CONDITION: Black area on her shoulder is a scrape. Other scuffs and scratches. No bends. APPEARANCE: Sharp. Very good contrast. Her face and hair are amazing. An exquisite portrait.
