SHAGGY DOG IN PROFILE

The photographer made fabulous use of space in this semi-profile of a small shaggy dog up on a table. The dog has a free-flowing coat that hasn't been combed. Someone certainly loved this pooch.
SIZE. Sixth plate.
HOUSING. Half case.
CONDITION. Resealed. 3 small squiggly vertical scratches, right side of bottom half. Light mold spiders. White circular spot at upper left. Dust and hairs beneath the glass. What look like scratches in the 3:00 area are some of these hairs.
APPEARANCE. Bright image. Very good contrast. Dog moved his or her nose a bit, but is sharp below. Lots of character. A striking portrait and visual treat.
